I like to think I'm an all-round photography. I enjoy studio and location photography about the same.  I just like to create good, interesting pictures, rather its traditional or abstract.  Sometimes I get inspirited and other times I just go out and find the subject matter and go from there. I usually just go with flow and see how it ends up and almost always get good results. My photography journey started back in high school when I took the photography course that the school had to offered and from there it took off. I bought the best 35mm camera that I could afford (the cheapest) from a mail order shop out of New York. From there I basically took pictures of everything from landscapes from travel, to stuffing my little brothers in trash cans for a photo opportunity.  All this eventually led me to commercial photography school majoring in studio lighting, illustration, small product ads and fashion. But due to lack of funding and school grants and I had to drop-out and pursued a career in food and beverage, music promoting. I did not touch a camera for nearly 30 years or so! Recently, I have re-kindled my passion for photography and the arts. Today I concentrate on trying to grow in all aspect of photography with strong focus on composition, lighting and the artistic subject matter. I learn the rules before I try to break them and often bounce between tradition and surreal. Most of my work lately is centered around music and entertainment promotion shots and pin-up model shoots.  I have been published in some of the biggest pin-up magazine along with other mainstream publications. Learning the ropes from the film era, I have embraced the digital age, using technology to push the quality of my work. I honestly feel lucky that I had the analog film experience with its limitations that come with it. It has made a huge difference in the way I shoot digitally, expanding what I am capable of. I hope you enjoy my work…Jeff Pobst
